Young people from South Bristol joined Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) this month to make their green pledges for Do 15 in 15 campaign. They pressed the button supplied by Bristol 15 which is travelling around the city helping organisations launch their pledges. The young people aged 9-18 were taking part in KWMC'S Summer Programme. Youngsters learnt how to build and programme robots today at Knowle West Media Centre. It was one of the many activities taking place during the organisation's STEAM week (Science, Technology, Art and Maths) which runs until Friday 14 August for young people aged nine and above.

A week of coding, app-making and fun has been happening at Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC). Young people aged 8-18 have been designing and making their own apps - with the help of mentors - at the Rewired State Festival of Code. They will all be off to Plymouth University on Friday 31st July for the weekend to present their apps to a team of judges - we wish them luck.
